Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of this website. By using the website, you agree to them.

1. About this website

This website is operated by Liberty ADR Centre, Amrahia, Accra, Ghana. It provides information about the Centre and about alternative dispute resolution, and allows you to send enquiries.

2. General information, not legal advice

The content of this website is general information. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as such. Whether ADR is suitable, and what your rights are, depends on your circumstances and the law that applies. Please consult a qualified lawyer for advice about your situation.

Liberty ADR Centre is not a law firm and not a court. Its neutrals do not represent or advise either party.

3. Enquiries do not create an engagement

Sending an enquiry through this website, by telephone, WhatsApp or email does not create an appointment, does not mean the Centre has accepted a matter, and does not start any negotiation, mediation, arbitration or other formal process. Any engagement is subject to separate written terms agreed with the parties.

4. No guaranteed outcome

Nothing on this website is a promise of a settlement, a particular result, a timescale or a cost saving. Outcomes depend on the parties, the dispute and the applicable law.

5. Accuracy of information

We work to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that all content is complete or current. Laws and procedures change, and information may be updated or removed without notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • submit false, misleading or malicious information, or information about other people that you have no right to share;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its administration area or its data;
  • interfere with the website’s operation, including by automated or bulk submissions.

7. Intellectual property

The content, design, name and logo of Liberty ADR Centre on this website belong to the Centre or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal use that is not commercial. Any other use requires our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Centre is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the general information on this website or from any interruption to its availability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Ghana.

10. Privacy

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information submitted through the website.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
