Appointments

How a neutral is chosen for your matter

The Centre proposes a neutral whose experience suits the dispute. Before anyone is appointed, we check for connections with the parties, their families or organisations, and anyone with a conflict of interest will not act.

Parties may raise concerns about a proposed neutral at any time. In arbitration, the parties’ agreement may also set out how an arbitrator is chosen.

Profiles are based on information supplied by each practitioner. Please ask if you would like to know more about a practitioner’s training or experience before a session.

Talk to us about your dispute

Tell us what is happening in your own words. We will explain the options available and whether ADR is likely to help. Sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything.
